After going 4-1 in non-league, St. Edmund's boys' basketball managed its first league win yesterday, 51-37, over the Cardinal Spellman Pilots in The Bronx.
St. Edmund's senior Chris Tsatsis led the way, scoring 10 points for the Eagles, who dominated the Pilots throughout the whole game.
"We came out a little flat," said St. Edmund's senior Nick Grasso. "We picked it up and we kept the defense pressure up and in the end, we came out victorious."
