State, federal offices close on Juneteenth, 3rd year observed as national holiday

It's the third year that Juneteenth is being observed as a nationwide holiday, and that means some businesses and agencies will be closed.

It's the third year that Juneteenth is being observed as a nationwide holiday, and that means some businesses and agencies will be closed.
All post offices will be closed, in addition to New York state, federal and non-essential offices.
The Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed, along with schools, banks, credit unions and all federal courthouses.
However, the Department of Sanitation is reminding residents that trash, recycling and compost collection will all be operating on their normal schedule.
