A Brooklyn man died on a New Year’s Eve fishing trip in northern Westchester, according to police.
Reports say Ngan We Kong, from Brooklyn, and Weitao Ma, from Staten Island, went fishing on a reservoir in Goldens Bridge when their rowboat overturned.
Reports say the men were later found by a fellow fisherman Tuesday morning.
State police say the victims were wearing life jackets when they fell into the bitterly cold water.
State police say Kong and Ma were discovered between their boat and the shoreline, indicating they were trying to get to safety.
