(AP) At a rally in Dimondale, Michigan, Friday, Donald Trump told African-American voters to give him a shot at the presidency.



The Republican presidential candidate asked the crowd, "What do you lose by trying something new like Trump?"



During his speech, Trump said many are living in poverty, have no jobs and asked the voters what they've got to lose.



"What the hell do you have to lose?" Trump asked.

Despite his dismal standing in the polls, this is not the first appeal Trump has made to the African-American demographic.
