Students attending the Dock Street School for STEAM Studies are getting ready to begin their year at a brand-new school.
Officials celebrated the opening of the middle school on Tuesday.
The Dock Street School will focus on STEAM - science, technology, engineering, arts and math - and its principal says it will serve students from around Brooklyn.
The DUMBO school features a science lab, a gym, a classroom for music and a dance room.
