Thousands crowd Arthur Avenue for Ferragosto Festival

Thousands of people gathered over the weekend for what some say is a one-of-a kind festival that is the closest thing to being in Italy.

Close to 20,000 people converged on Arthur Avenue on Sunday for the 2016 Ferragosto Festival.

Those who attended were treated to music, dancing and food.

Organizers say the festival was started more than 15 years ago with the goal to help promote the area.
