Brooklyn to host first championship car race in NYC

Brooklyn is about become the first borough in New York City history to host a high speed championship car race.
The site of the race will be the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. An FIA Formula E racing series race will be at the terminal one weekend in either the middle or end of next July.
The FIA Formula E Championship is the world's first fully electric single-seater racing series.
CEO Alejandro Agag says he's had New York City on his radar for years.
Organizers for the race are expecting as many as 15,000 people to be in attendance.
