Dyker Heights pet store vandalized

A pet store in Dyker Heights was vandalized around 3 a.m. Saturday, but the intruder didn't take any money, owners say.
Owner James Guiliani says the intruder smashed windows, knocked over counters and broke merchandise before leaving the Diamond Collar pet shop.
Surveillance video shows a man walk by and peak inside shortly before the break-in.
Guiliani says proceeds from his pet boutique normally go to taking care of rescues at his shelter, the Kenos Animal Sanctuary. He says the repairs cost several thousand dollars.
Police were testing blood that was found in the store, but no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information about the break-in should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
