Police: Pair stole woman’s purse, went on shopping spree with her credit card in Bath Beach

Police are searching for two people who allegedly stole a woman's purse and then went on a shopping spree with her credit card.

Officials believe they have video of the people suspected of breaking into the woman's car on McDonald Avenue on Sept. 26.

They say two people took her purse and made $600 worth of purchases with the victim's credit card at a Shell station and Toys R Us store in Bath Beach.

Police believe the suspects were driving a beige or gold Honda Odyssey.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
