Michael Singer was shocked when he found out he was diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago.
Luckily he survived, and now Singer says he is teaming up with the American Cancer Society to form the Male Breast Cancer Coalition.
Singer says the campaign slogan "Real Men Wear Pink" is intended to inspire and spread awareness about the disease that doesn't discriminate against gender.
He says he has raised 57 percent of his $2,500 goal to contribute funds to the American Cancer Society.
American Cancer Society estimates there will be 2,000 new cases of male breast cancer this year and that at least 440 men will go undiagnosed and die.
Singer says he wants to change that statistic by funding earlier detection methods for men.
