Walk helps support parents who lost a baby

Parents that have experienced the pain of losing a child gathered in Marine Park Sunday for the Birth in Heaven Foundation Walk.

Organizers say their goal is to help provide resources for families who have experienced infant and pregnancy loss.

Participants say they quickly bonded with others because they understand what it's like to be happy about having a child and then to know the pain of losing that child.

The founder of the walk says she hopes it becomes an annual event which will allow them to reach more families.
