A family-owned bagel and bialy maker is headed to Long Island after 70 years of operating in Brooklyn.
Bagels by Bell will move from its space in Canarsie to a 32,000-square-foot site in Oceanside. But the third-generation family business will always have its heart baked into Brooklyn's history, according to its co-owners.
The current 10,000-square-foot factory has about dozen employees and cranks out about 72,0000 hand-crafted bagels and bialys every day.
Co-owner Jared Bell assures that the quality of his products will be the same after the move.
