Officials offer tips to voters before Election Day

Election Day 2016 is Tuesday, and voters may face long lines in what many view as one of the most controversial elections in the country's history.
In presidential election years, like this one, officials say the most voters turn out to the polls.
They say voters can check NYCPollSiteLocator.com to get information on where to find their polling site, its hours of operation, and information on their election district and a ballot preview.
When voters arrive, they receive a ballot and a folder, along with directions on how to fill it out and submit their vote.
At the end, the voter takes the completed ballot and feeds it into a scanning machine.
Ballot marking devices are available to those who need assistance or have disabilities.
Taking selfies is prohibited, and violators may face misdemeanor charges.
Officials also say that peak times are expected to be in the early morning and late evening.
