Members of the Doe Fund's culinary arts job training program are preparing Thanksgiving dinner.
The food was being prepared by and, on Thursday, will go to the 800 formerly incarcerated and homeless men who live in the Doe Fund's three facilities -- in Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and Harlem.
Among other services and programs, the Doe Fund provides job training and educational opportunities for those who were incarcerated and homeless.
The Doe Fund's culinary arts team in Bushwick is also catering a full Thanksgiving dinner for Hunter College Tuesday evening.
