Soaking rain drenches Brooklyn
Residents across the borough dealt with a consistent downpour of rain and wind Tuesday.
Commuters were urged to be wary when driving on the Belt Parkway or in Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach and Sheepshead Bay, as they are known to flood in certain parts.
Drivers should also make sure their windshield wipers are in good, working condition and give themselves plenty of extra time to get to their destinations.
The poor conditions will continue Wednesday with a chance of thunderstorms and temperatures reaching the 60s.
