Holocaust survivors attend pre-Hanukkah celebration

Holocaust survivors were treated to a pre-Hanukkah celebration on Wednesday.



The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty hosted more than 400 Holocaust survivors from New York City.



They enjoyed a luncheon and social event featuring dancing and singing for Hanukkah.



The event aimed to alleviate social isolation and to enable Holocaust survivors to celebrate the upcoming holiday and uphold their traditions with dignity.
