New Year’s Eve shoppers flock to BK party supply shop

Many Brooklyn stores were busy Saturday with customers picking up last-minutes items for their New Year's Eve celebrations.

Workers at Party Fair on Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick say balloons were the most popular items purchased, with many people scheduling orders ahead of time.

They say other popular items to ring in 2017 include confetti poppers, hats that light up, noise makers and party streamers.

Some in the borough say they have been coming to the store for decorations for over a decade and others say they ventured all the way from Pennsylvania.

According to the staff, many people wait until the last minute to get all their party goods.
