Man in critical condition after Graham Ave. fire
Officials say a man is in critical condition at Woodhull Hospital after jumping out of his fifth-floor apartment to escape a fire this morning in Williamsburg.
Firefighters say the fire started at the apartment building at 33 Graham Ave.
Deputy Assistant Chief James Leonard says that the fire was fairly intense, causing damage to an adjoining building.
The Red Cross is assisting two other families who were displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
