Firefighters battle 'suspicious' Bed-Stuy house fire
About 30 firefighters were on the scene of an early morning house fire in Bed-Stuy today, which is being called suspicious.
The flames erupted at around 5:30 a.m. inside a vacant home on Kosciuszko Street. Officials say the fire was difficult to put out because it was in the top ceiling and the roof.
The fire chief says that because of the location of the flames, the cold weather and the fact that the place was empty, he believes it is suspicious.
No injuries were reported.
