Brownsville tenants take landlord to court

Tenants in Brownsville have taken their landlord to court in a fight to reclaim their apartments. Tenants at 166 Junius St. say landlord Yoel Fald threw their belongings onto the sidewalk and put chains on their doors without any warning earlier this week. In housing court today, Fald heard testimony from many of his residents. The hearing is expected to continue Monday morning. Some of the tenants have moved into shelters, while others say they've broken the locks on their apartments and have moved back in.Angry Brownsville tenants ready to take landlord to court
