BK councilman calls for bus stop parking changes
A Brooklyn councilman is making a push to free up more parking spots near city bus stops.
Councilman David Greenfield wants the MTA to re-evaluate the length of each bus zone and clearly mark the area where parking is prohibited. He believes that will end up giving drivers more space to park without fear of getting a ticket.
The proposal has been referred to the City Council's Transportation Committee for hearings.
