A Brooklyn couple got creative when the economy got bad.
With the increasing popularity of bicycle riding in the city, they started their own bike shop from just a few used bikes.
Years ago, Robert and Brenda Ferrarin had some financial troubles and a baby on the way when they decided to create a business venture out of their home.
It started when they decided to buy some bicycles at a yard sale and fix them up. They sold like hot cakes. The cheap overhead means good prices for the customer.
The Ferrains say they like the city?s new focus on bike paths and green transportation. They say they have no plans to move the bike shop out of their home.
