Brooklyn to keep many city-funded services
Brooklyn residents are now assured that a number of city-funded services will remain available to them under the newly approved 2013 city budget.
City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, along with other council members, met with people at the Park Slope Senior Center Tuesday to discuss the impact the budget has on services, including day care, after-school programs and senior centers.
Quinn also said that libraries and emergency services are protected under the new budget.
