Shoes are piling up in East New York where students prove that giving is good for the soul.
The kids at I.S. 292 have collected more than 200 of their own shoes for Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that gives footwear to people in need around the world.
Student council members say they came up with the idea as part of a community service project.
