Study: High heels carry long-term health risks
A new study in the Journal of Applied Physiology warns women who wear high heels risk compromising their health for fashion.
According to the study, women who wear heels typically take shorter, more forceful strides than those who wear flats. The study claims that those strides can lead to long-term muscle strain and injury.
Dr. Lorenzo Scotty recommends that women avoid wearing any heels higher than 2 inches.
