Autopsy to be performed on unidentified BK man

An autopsy will be performed tomorrow to determine how a man died after police discovered his burned body in a sidewalk trash fire.

Emergency workers responded to the fire at 2171 Hendrickson St. just before 4 a.m. this morning.

Detectives are continuing to comb Hendrickson Street in Marine Park for evidence.

Neighbors who live close to the fire told News 12 that there is always garbage at the scene, which is next door to a furniture shop.

One off-camera neighbor also told News 12 that there are sometimes homeless people in the area who are attracted to the busy shopping area close by. Police: Body found in Marine Park trash fire
