MTA to start 'FASTRACK' repairs on B, D, F, and M lines tomorrow
Subway riders who use the B, D, F and M lines will have to get used to some changes starting tomorrow evening.
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday through Friday, March 2, subway service will stop on sections of the lines so crews can make repairs.
The MTA calls the program FASTRACK and says that the shutdown allows crews to work more efficiently and safer than working in-between passing trains.
The MTA says it has successfully completed repairs through the program on the 1 through 6 lines.
For complete information on the shutdown and alternative service, visit the MTA website.
