One of the nation's top girls basketball programs is now playing its final season after Nazareth officials announced the school is set to close after graduation this year.
The Lady Kingsmen are defending city and state champions, but low enrollment and financial trouble will force non-senior players elsewhere next year.
The Catholic high school has been a fixture in East Flatbush for more than 50 years.
