For the first time ever, the NHL is skating its way into Brooklyn.
The Barclays Center has added another event to its growing roster. The New York Islanders will face off against the New Jersey Devils in an exhibition game set for Oct. 2.
The arena officially opens in late September with concerts from Nets part-owner Jay-Z.
