Residents at Noble Drew Ali Plaza feel fenced in

Neighbors in Brownsville are calling for the removal of a fence constructed inside the Noble Drew Ali Plaza apartment complex.
Residents say the gate is about 7 or 8 feet high and takes up most of the space between the buildings, leaving little room for people to walk by.
The owners of the property say they plan on building a garden within the courtyard gates, which is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
However, some neighbors say the fence makes them feel like they're in prison, and they want it taken down.
The property has a history of problems, and since the current owners bought it a few years ago, they've spent millions of dollars on renovations. They say building the fence is part of a plan to make the courtyard safer.
