Cops: Suspect in woman's death leaps to own death
Police say a woman was found dead in Williamsburg Tuesday night and the man suspected of killing her then leapt off a roof to his own death.
According to police, 29-year-old Liliana Belfor was found bleeding and unresponsive in a bathtub at 325 Roebling St. at around 8 p.m. They say 26-year-old Efraim Gabourel fled the scene and then jumped from the top of the building.
Authorities say both people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Gabourel had more than a dozen prior arrests for harassment and robbery as well as for an alleged assault against Belfor, according to officials.
