DOT approves speed control measures in Park Slope

The New York City Department of Transportation has approved a measure to install speed humps along part of President Street in hopes of slowing down drivers.
The humps will be installed between Sixth and Seventh avenues.Neighbors say that the street has two schools along the street and the humps are needed to protect the children.
The president of the community board says that no date has been set for installation of the speed humps.
