Marine Park in shock after NYPD shooting

Marine Park residents are in shock after a neighbor was arrested following a shootout with the NYPD.
Investigators say the shooting happened Saturday on the sixth floor of 3301 Nostrand Ave. They say 33-year-old Nakwon Foxworth opened fire after barricading himself in his apartment and holding his pregnant girlfriend and infant son hostage.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says Foxworth was released from prison in 2010 after a 10-year sentence, and one tenant says she is furious that he was allowed to live in the building given his criminal record. A maintenance worker in the complex called Foxworth a nasty person who never greeted anyone.
Foxworth has been charged with attempted murder, assault on a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
