New recreational courtyard opens at John Jay High School

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at a Brooklyn high school after its parking lot received a facelift and was turned into a recreational courtyard.
The $300,000 project will benefit students at the Secondary School of Journalism at John Jay High School.
Public advocate Bill de Blasio was on hand for the ceremony.
