BK artist carves her mark at Manhattan gallery

A Brooklyn woman has made a statement with her art, becoming the first female to showcase her work at the Pop International Gallery in Manhattan.
Robin Antar's sculptures are now standing alongside the works of several famous male artists, including Andy Warhol. She says it took more than a decade before she was approved to put her pieces on display.
Antar says she took to painting abstract pieces of art over the years because she was born blind in one eye. Many of her paintings have also been turned into versions carved in stone.
