Man indicted on murder charges for 2006 arson fire

The man accused of setting a Crown Heights fire that killed four people has been indicted on murder charges.
According to prosecutors, 38-year-old Samuel Martinez intentionally set a fire on Pacific Street back in 2006. A mother and her two children died trying to escape the flames, along with a 23-year-old woman who jumped from her fourth-floor apartment.
Investigators say Martinez would visit the building to buy heroin from a tenant. He's charged with eight counts of murder in the second degree, and faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
