ADIDAS cancels controversial shoe launch
ADIDAS announced today it is canceling plans to launch its new JS Roundhouse Mids sneaker before it even hits shelves.
The controversial footwear was supposed to be a reboot of a classic high-top sneaker, but the sneaker's shackle-like cuffs recently came under fire for too closely resembling a symbol of slavery.
A preview of the sneaker was released months ago, but did not gain attention until the company recently began promoting it on their Facebook page.
