The National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express today announced 16 historic places that received preservation grants as part of the Partners in Preservation competition. The two teamed up to provide $3 million in funding to preserve historic buildings throughout New York.Three Brooklyn organizations were among the 16 to receive grants: Brown Memorial Baptist Church, Tug Pegasus and Waterfront Museum Barge and Weeksville Heritage Center.
