A Sunset Park doctor has been indicted for allegedly writing and selling fake prescriptions.

According to prosecutors, Dr. Shaikh Monirul Hasan wrote painkiller scripts in the names of people who were not patients at his practice and then sold them. They say some of the drugs ended up being sold on the street.

Hasan faces 32 counts of criminal sale of a prescription for a controlled substance.
