BK entrepreneur carries bag line to new success
A Brooklyn entrepreneur specializing in eco-friendly bags has opened the doors to her own store.
Emily Sugihara, the woman behind the retailer Baggu, showed off the entire collection of chic, practical bags at her summer pop-up store in Williamsburg. The line was created a few years ago, but was only available online, except for a few pieces in some stores.
Baggu is only open by appointment during the week, but is open to the public Friday through Sunday. Sugihara hopes to keep the shop open through the holidays and is also looking for a permanent storefront.
