Almost 24 hours after Stephen St. Bernard saved a little girl after she fell three stories, neighbors are still thanking him over and over again.
St. Bernard was on the way home yesterday when some children outside pointed out a 7-year-old girl standing on top of an air conditioner at 30-30 Surf Ave. in Coney Island. Running toward the building, St. Bernard caught her just in time.
The 52-year-old MTA bus driver tore a ligament in his arm because of the catch. The little girl survived the fall without injury.Child caught after falling 3 stories from Coney Island window
