The Coney Island boardwalk battle is raging forward with a new lawsuit attempting to keep the city from changing the area.

Residents and advocacy groups want to stop the wooden boardwalk from being replaced with concrete. In the lawsuit, they claim that the plan did not undergo a necessary state and city environmental review.
