125th annual Giglio Feast kicks off in Williamsburg

The annual Giglio Feast is marking its 125th year of bringing a taste of Italy to Brooklyn.
The event at our Lady of Mount Carmel in Williamsbrug attracts hundreds of people each year to celebrate the return of Saint Paulinus of Nola from captivity with good food and music.
Organizers say the tradition is a great way to mark Italian history, but that it becomes more difficult to plan each year because of all the permits required by the city.
