Meeting planned about site of former Key Food in Windsor Terrace

A community meeting will be held next week to discuss what to do with the site where Key Food used to be.

The supermarket, which was located at the corner of Prospect Avenue and 11th Avenue, closed last month. Employees say the property was sold to Walgreen's, which is expected to move in next spring. However, residents say they're concerned because they now have no supermarket in the neighborhood with Key Food gone.

The meeting will be held on Monday, July 9, at 7 p.m. at Shepherd's Hall in Holy Name Church.
