Brooklyn teacher fatally stabbed at Staten Island home
Police say a Brooklyn teacher was found fatally stabbed inside her Staten Island home yesterday.
According to police, 29-year old Simonette Mapes was stabbed several times in the torso. Authorities say her husband is accused in her murder.
The Department of Education says Mapes has worked at "The School for Classics" since 2009.
