3 arrested after fight at McCarren Pool Park

A fight that broke out at McCarren Park Pool on Monday resulted in the arrests of three men.

Police sources say an officer was punched in the face while he was trying to help enforce a 'no diving' rule at the pool.

According to sources, a second officer was hurt while trying to arrest 20-year-old Rodolfo Torres.

Two other teens, Carlos Carmago, 17, and Jose Carmago, 18, were reportedly arrested for disorderly conduct during the incident.

The incident occurred just a few days after the pool was closed Friday over a fight between a lifeguard and a young person.
