Brooklyn barbers try to bolster support for Obama

A Brooklyn barber is trying to bolster support for President Barack Obama with help from some other hair-cutters around the borough. Bed-Stuy barber Colin Rodney got together with his colleagues from all over Brooklyn and Harlem to organize voter registration drives and encourage support for the president. Together, the group calls itself Barbers for Obama. Rodney says he got the idea from heated political discussions in his barber shop. He says his group is hoping to reach out via Facebook and other methods to young people who have never voted. The last day to register to vote in this year's election is Oct. 12.
