Brownsville neighbors tired of illegal garbage dumping
Neighbors on Bristol Street are saying that someone is illegally dumping garbage in front of a vacant home.
The pile of garbage includes car doors, baby carriages and much more.
Neighbors say the home at 507 Bristol St. was being rented out, but the tenants were kicked out six months ago for not paying their rent. That is when the garbage started piling up.
The Department of Sanitation says it cannot enter the premises since the garbage is behind a fence on private property.
After a slew of complaints and summonses, the Health Department says the owner of the property will have to appear at a environmental control board hearing.
News 12 Brooklyn reached out to Saxon Mortgage, which services the loan for 507 Bristol St. but the agency?s offices were closed.
