Harlem Globetrotters hop on LIRR to Brooklyn
The Harlem Globetrotters hopped on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and headed to Atlantic Terminal to promote their upcoming game at the new Barclays Center.
The team also wanted to encourage people to use mass transit. Globetrotter Hammer grew up in East New York and says he knows how hard it can be to get around the borough in a car.
The Globetrotters make their basketball debut in Brooklyn on Oct. 7. Spectators can save $7 on each ticket if they take the LIRR to the event.
