Bronx residents gathered for a Sept. 11 ceremony at a memorial designed by a Brooklyn architect. Xenia Urban says she chose a secluded spot at Jacobi Medical Center to create her design. The piece, installed in 2002, replicates the footprints of both World Trade Center towers. She says the plaques were oriented to reflect the towers' actual positions.
